Hanoi is becoming one of the wonderful and attractive destinations in Vietnam and all over the world. each year, the city welcomes a numerous number of tourists coming here and experience the ancient and unique beauty of the capital. Therefore, Travel agents in Hanoi are expecting a growth of 30 percent during this summer holiday season.

The growth in number of bookings and tourists to the city listed from travel agents shows that Hanoi is getting its high position in tourism market.

According to Nguyen Cong Hoan, Deputy General Director of Hanoi Redtour, the booking of summer tours through his company is estimated to increase 25-30 percent year-on-year. The company sells 3,500-4,000 tours to its customers a month, 50 percent of which heads to foreign countries.

Meanwhile, Vietrantour tour operator sees the number of summer holidaymakers to hit more than 10,000, which is 30 percent higher than the figure in the same period last year.

Statistically, Hanoians have trend to travel to beautiful beaches on summer to escape the high temperature in the city. While that, Halong, Cat Ba, Sam Son, Danang, Nha Trang, Phu Quoc and Mui Ne are top destinations of beaches where attract many tourists this year.

Besides it, many Ha Noi tourists choose to travel abroad to some countries such as: the EU, the UK, Russia and the US and some places with many interesting and exciting activities as: Disneyland in Hong Kong, Universal Studio in Singapore and Everland in the Republic of Korea (RoK), said Pham Bich Ngoc, deputy director of Vietrantour.

To attract more tourists and create them the most favourable condition while traveling, travel agents offer discounts, gifts and free guide to support tourists and inspire them for a wonderful vacation.

The Korean Tourism Organisation (KTO) has recently launched its healthcare tourism products in Vietnam. Some 3,000 Vietnamese people book the tours to the RoK and the number is expected to surge in the coming time.

According to tourism companies, the tour prices this year is almost similar to the corresponding period last year in spite of the soaring number of tourists stemming from promotional tourist programmes.
