The Vietnam Circus Federation (VCF) was awarded a bronze medal at the 8th International Circus Festival held at Wuhan, China, according to Vu Ngoai Hop, Director of VCF on November 12.

Vietnam’s bronze showing means its performance will be among those to perform at the closing Gala ceremony of the festival.

The International Circus Festival took place from October 20-30, showcasing circus troupes from Russia, Hungary, the Republic of Korea, Mongolia, Finland, Canada, Vietnam, Uzbekistan, Australia, Sweden, the US and China.

Participants brought a total 25 performances to the festival. In particular, the ‘panda show’ performed by Vietnamese artists received high acclaim from Chinese audiences.
