Drawing contest for disabled children launched

Children’s newspapers Nhi Dong and Hoa Mi have coordinated with Plan International to launch a drawing contest on May 11. Entitled "My dreams", the contest is for disabled children aged 5-16 living in Vietnam.

Disabled children are expected to send their messages to leaders after the United Nations adopted the Convention on the Disabled in December 2006.

Participants in the contest can draw pictures on A3 sheets with different materials about a beautiful life from their own eyes, which includes the right to learn and play in a cordial and supporting atmosphere offered by family, community and society.

Entries should be sent to 12 Ho Xuan Huong, Hanoi or 1 Cao Duc Thang, District 3, HCM City.
