The “Thang Long-Hanoi Craft Villages and Streets” festival will be held at Bach Thao botanical park in Hanoi from September 16-21.
At the event, international and domestic visitors will have the chance to discover products from five traditional craft villages in Hanoi; namely Bat Trang ceramic village and Kieu Ky gold leaf village in Gia Lam district; Van Phuc silk village in Ha Dong district; Son Dong handicraft village in Hoai Duc district and Phu Vinh rattan village in Chuong My district.
Over 100 photographs on craft villages and streets from the past and present and recording works of art by Hanoian artisans will be on display.
A contest to test the skills of artists and craft people and win a Thang Long millennial Cup will also be held.
