The Culture-Tourism Village of Vietnamese ethnic groups will officially open on September 19, says the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

The opening ceremony will feature many activities including a ceremony to honour the traditional craft villages of 54 ethnic groups in celebration of the 1,000^th anniversary of Thang Long-Hanoi and an exchange with ambassadors and international organisations in Vietnam.

The village was built in Son Tay, Hanoi, on total area of 1,544 hectares.

The village comprises an ethnic village, a culture centre, entertainment facilities, a tourism service, a park and administrative offices.
