The Cuban Book Institute and the Cuban Institute for Friendship with the Peoples published a book entitled “Remembering Late President Ho Chi Minh” by Vietnamese Colonel-General Phung The Tai on September 7.

The book marks the 50^th years of diplomatic ties between Vietnam and Cuba.

Speaking at the introduction ceremony, Cuban journalist Marta Roja, the last person to conduct an interview with late President Ho Chi Minh, reviewed all the milestones in the life and revolutionary career of the late President.

She stressed that late President Ho Chi Minh left the country when he was only 21 years old to find the ways to liberate his country from colonial depression. He was a trail blazer in the fight for freedom of the colonial countries in Asia and Africa. He was also the founder of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam (now the Socialist Republic of Vietnam).

According to the Cuban Book Institute, the book will help young Latin-American people learn more about late President Ho Chi Minh.
