A peaceful and beautiful Vietnam through Charleroi Expo 2011 in Belgium

On last Oct 31, the Charleroi Expo 2011 opened at international exhibition centre in Charleroi city, Belgium, attracting the participation of Vietnamese Ambassador to Belgium and lots of Belgian officials living and working at Wallonie region, Hainaut province and this Charleroi city

Ha Long bay, which will be featured at Charleroi Expo 2011

At Charleroi Expo 2011, Vietnam has 15 stalls at total. Photos and objects on Vietnam and its cuisine are being showcased here.

Addressing the opening ceremony of the event, Vietnam Ambassador to Belgium Pham Sanh Chau said Vietnam is one of the two countries chosen as the main theme of the expo “Let’s explore Vietnam”.

The Vietnamese stalls cover an area of 1,200sq.m, displaying images, objects and models of the One-Pillar Pagoda, Ha Long Bay, Hue imperial palace and craft villages of Vietnam as well as costumes of its ethnic minorities.

The annual expo is expected to last through November 13.

So, it can be said that it’s a good way to introduce a little Vietnam with international friends through this event. In the future, Vietnam should continue to attend many expos more like this in order to attract more tourists coming to Vietnam and then to discover Vietnam’s culture and people here in tours to Vietnam.
