To mark the 444th anniversary of English playwright William Shakespeare’s birthday, 65 theatre companies from 35 countries will perform a selection of his masterpieces on April 23.

The programme entitled ”S24- the night of Shakespeare” will begin in New Zealand and also be held in Fiji, Solomon Islands, Australia, Japan, Hongkong, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, Bangladesh India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Russia, Arabia Saudi, Israel, Romania, Turkey, Croatia, Germany, Malawi, Norway, Serbia, Zimbabwe, the UK, Ireland, Island, Ghana, Cape Verde, Brazil, Bermuda, Mexico, Arkansas, New Mexico, Seattle, and Alaska before coming to a close in Hawaii, the US.
