The US band Ozomatti-winner of three Grammy awards is currently on a visit to Vietnam from May 11-15 as part of a programme of culture exchanges assisted by the US Department of State and the US Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City.

The band will be in concert at 7.30pm on May 11 at My Phuoc Theatre in Binh Duong province and 7.30pm on May 13 at Lan Anh Club in Ho Chi Minh City.

On May 14 Ozomatti will put on a special show for handicapped and HIV-infected people. Free tickets are available.

The US Department of State sees the band acting as a cultural ambassador when it tours Europe, Africa, South America and the Middle East.

The band received 2 Grammy awards in 2002 with the album “Embrace the Chaos” and 2005 with the album “Street Signs” and won the Billboard Latin award in 2004 with “Coming Up”. Ozomatti’s music has been used in famous Hollywood films and TV shows such as “The X Files” and “Ugly Betty”.
