Addressing the press conference on January 18, Deputy Director of the centre Nguyen Thi Hoa said that the highlight of the festival will be collecting people’s opinions on national costumes, flower and wine in Vietnam.
In addition, the event will also introduce elements of the traditional Lunar New Year Festival such as the Kitchen God Festival, market days in villages and mountainous areas, folk games and traditional costumes as well as art performance to mark the 81st anniversary of the establishment of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
Especially, a special cultural programme will be held in Hanoi on January 29 to announce the national flower and launch a vote to choose the national wine and costumes.
