A Singapore Festival will be held by the Singaporean Consulate General in Vietnam and the Vietnam-Singapore Friendship Association at the Thanh Nien Culture House in Ho Chi Minh City from August 12-16.
The event is part of the Culture House’s programme to help Vietnamese young people understand the culture and people of countries around the world.
The festival, themed “A Glance Uniquely Singapore,” started with an exhibition of a postcard collection titled “Sai Gon – Singpore at the beginning of the 20th century” provided by Singaporean collector Soh Weng Yew. Visitors can also enjoy traditional Singaporean cuisine at the festival.
