Speaking at the opening ceremony on December 23, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Le Tien Tho praised authors, who came from 16 cities and provinces across the country, for their creativeness while preserving the national folklore, thus meeting demands from both domestic and international customers.
All this has actively contributed to the growth of traditional pottery craft villages nationwide, said the deputy minister.
The event has drawn the participation of not only professional pottery artisans but also sculptors, proving the attractiveness of the art, according to President of the Vietnam Art Association Tran Khanh Chuong.
The Vietnam Art Association presented 12 awards to authors of best products and the Industrial Art University gave three prizes to its teachers and students actively involved the exhibition.
