Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Thien Nhan has approved a proposal to erect a statue of late President Ho Chi Minh in Acapula City, Mexico.

The proposal was submitted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

He also urged the Ministry to cooperate with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to begin construction soon.
