The French Embassy will coordinate with other French agencies in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City to launch a French week in Vietnam from April 6-12.
This will be an important political, economic and cultural event of France in Vietnam, said French Ambassador Herve Bolot at a press conference in Ho Chi Minh City on January 11. He added that the week will provide an opportunity for French businesses to discover Vietnam, a new dragon in Asia.
The event will feature a three-day exhibition on French companies’ products and five symposia on energy, health, agricultural products and foodstuffs, education, Francophone community and globalization.
Many cultural and sport activities will be held during the week, such as a photo exhibition, dance performances, a fashion show, a gala night for orphans and an inauguration ceremony for the Tre Eco-museum in southern Binh Duong province.
