Over 7,000 book titles published by hundreds of French and Vietnamese publishing houses are being featured at the French Books Exhibition, which opened in Hanoi on October 7.

The exhibition is part of the “Reading Day”, held annually by the French Cultural Centre in Hanoi in conjunction with several Vietnamese agencies with the aim of promoting literature, books and a culture of reading among the city’s residents.
