The country’s fourth Environmental Film Festival was jointly launched in Hanoi on September 23 by the Ministry of Natural Resources and the Environment, Vietnam Television and the Vietnam Film Association.

All organisations and individuals across the country, who are interested in the environment, are encouraged to take part in the festival.

All films made after 2008 with a focus on the environment, including problems and examples of environmental protection are eligible to compete in this event.

The deadline for entries is November 20 and the awards ceremony is scheduled for December.
