The authorities have seized an antique drum from illegal antique dealers in Phu Xuan commune, Krong Nang district, Central Highland Dac Lac province.

Tran Quy Thinh from the Vietnam Archaeology Institute said on August 1 that initial studies show that the bronze drum, measured at 65cm in diameter, dates back to the Dong Son Culture, 2,000-2,500 years ago.
