A Vietnam Cultural Week will open in Brussels, Belgium from September 1-4 to mark Vietnam as ASEAN chair, Belgium as EU president, and Hanoi’s 1,000th anniversary.

During the week, there will be a wide range of activities, such as musical performances, fashion shows of Vietnamese traditional costumes, an exhibition to introduce Vietnam’s land, people, culture, special products and handicrafts and other activities on the theme of the 1,000^th anniversary of Hanoi capital.

The event aims to strengthen cultural co-operation and mutual understanding between Vietnam and Belgium as well as to promote Vietnam’s image in Belgium and the EU.
