Ha Long Bay, Mt. Fansipan and Phong Nha Cave have been nominated as “new natural wonders of the world” in the first round of a contest sponsored by the New Wonders organisation.

The three sites and another 166 around the world have been nominated by the public in a voting contest held by the organisation.
