Photo exhibition takes place in Germany

A photo exhibition to mark the 35th year of German-Vietnam diplomatic ties was held in the Adlershof Cultural Centre in Berlin on June 25-28.

Attending the event was the Head of the Treptow-Koepenik borough, Gabriele Schoettler, the Vietnamese Ambassador to Germany, Do Hoa Binh, and a large number of German visitors and overseas Vietnamese.

Ambassador Binh praised the traditional friendship between the two countries and expressed his gratitude to local authorities and artists that organised the event to show the peaceful daily life of Vietnamese people.

The ambassador also introduced important events in Vietnam Year in Germany, and invited those attending to the photo exhibition to participate in the Vietnam Festival, scheduled to take place in Alexander Platz on August 28-29 with interesting performances by famous Vietnamese artists.

The photo exhibition is a project conducted by the Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design in Halle and it displays 150 photos taken by 12 artists during their 4-week stay in Vietnam.
