The festival will have artists from ten European countries-Germany, Austria, Italy, Belgium, Luxembourg, France, Republic of Ireland, Spain, the Netherlands and Greece-performing at the festival, alongside two artists from Vietnam-Quyen Thien Dac, saxophone player, and percussionist Le Quoc Hung.
Of particular interest in this year’s festival is Austrian harp player Mornika Stadlerc, who will play a fusion of folk, jazz and classical music. This is the first time a harpist is performing at the festival.
The European Music Festival 2008 is organized by the European Commission and the consulates of EU member nations in co-operation with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
