Italian photographer holds exhibit in Rome of Vietnam photos

Nearly 50 photos of the land and people of Vietnam taken by Italian photographer Maurizio Cofini are on display in an exhibition in Rome

In his second exhibition on Vietnam, Cofini continues to depict life in the country from Hanoi’s Old Quarter to Halong Bay and the Cuu Long (Mekong) Delta.

The 54-year-old professional photographer, who has won numerous major awards in Italy, illustrates the normal lives of people across the country and sees Vietnam as a peace-loving nation vigorously changing and recovering from long-ago wars. He had visited Vietnam five times over the past 15 years, with the most recent in September last year.
