The goal was set at the association’s third congress in Hanoi on May 25.

The association agreed that in the next term, it will continue to teach Esperanto to its members and encourage foreigners to take part in an Esperanto contest on the 1000^th founding anniversary of Thang Long-Hanoi, entitled "Hanoi-Your destination".

Founded in May 1997, the association has engaged in a number of friendship activities initiated by the city authorities.
