A literature & arts exhibition and a dancing festival opened in Hanoi on August 25 to celebrate the 64th anniversary of National Day, on September 2 and the 80th anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam in the run up to the 100th anniversary of Thang Long-Hanoi.

The exhibition has hundreds of literature & arts works on display such as sculptures paintings and photos from central and local literature & arts associations.

In addition to the exhibition, a performance by 400 amateur dancers from 18 dance troupes was given to introduce renowned musical pieces from the Vietnam Musicians’ Association.
