A concert took place in the Hanoi Opera House on September 2 to mark 1,000th anniversary of Thang Long-Hanoi.    

It aimed to help the audience learn more about Hanoi’s history and honour the people who contributed to national development in the new era.

During the concert, domestic and overseas Vietnamese singers performed a number of well-known pieces on Hanoi by famous musicians such as Van Cao, Nguyen Dinh Thi, Do Nhuan, Dam Linh, Nguyen Van Quy and Tran Manh Hung.
