21 photographers climb Fansipan mountain

21 young photographers, including 4 women from the website cum club www.photo.vn reached the peak of Fansipan mountain, at a height of 3143m, at 10am on March 7 after two days of climbing in cold weather.

It was the first time that the group of professional and amateur photographers from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City had ever conquered the mountain known as ‘the roof of Indochina’.

During the ascent, they recorded spectacular cloud formations and views of Sapa town in Lao Cai province from the top of Fansipan mountain and Hoang Lien National Park.

These unique images will be circulated throughout the domestic press and put on the Internet so the whole world can appreciate the beauty of Fansipan mountain. It is hoped that this will successfully help to promote Sapa, Lao Cai and Vietnam’s tourism industry in general.
