It has been produced by the Vietnam Ethnic Culture and Tourism Village under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and was launched in response to the 1,000th anniversary of Thang Long-Hanoi, the 65th anniversary of August Revolution and National Day.
The website will introduce the historical and cultural values of the country’s 54 ethnic minority groups and provide domestic and foreign tourists and researchers with information on all these ethnic minority groups. It will also include video clips and photos about villages and hamlets across the country to help preserve and promote traditional culture, and strengthen national unity.
The Vietnam Ethnic Culture and Tourism Village will be upgraded into the national culture centre and is expected to open in September, 2010.
