VOVNews will award winners of the “Beautiful Hanoi” photographic contest on October 19 at its office, at 45 Ba Trieu Street, Hanoi.

The contest, launched in June, 2010 by VOVNews to mark the 1000^th anniversary of Thang Long-Hanoi, has attracted 350 entries from across the country. 15 works have been chosen for the exhibition and 9 will receive prizes.

One first prize, one second prize, 2 third prizes and 5 consolidation prizes will be presented the winners at the awards ceremony.

According to the jury, each work portrays a different side of Hanoi. All of them reflect the impressive features of Hanoi’s life, people, architecture and customs through the course of history.
