Duong Truong Thien Ly, Vietnam’s representative to the 2008 Miss World Contest, arrived at OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg on November 16, making her one of the candidates to arrive the earliest.

Graceful in her traditional long dress and conical straw hat, Thien Ly greeted all with a friendly smile, then welcomed other candidates from such nations as Australia, Portugal, and China, who came minutes later.

The presence of Thien Ly and other beauties really heated the atmosphere of OR Tambo, attracting the attention of all the passengers there.

The host country showed their hospitality with a well-planned reception and enthusiastic dances.

The beauties were later taken to South Africa’s luxurious Sandton Sun Hotel in downtown Johannesburg.
