The 2011 Asia Music Olympic will be held in the provinces of Phu Yen and Khanh Hoa provinces from August 28- September 4 in collaboration with Germany’s Interkultur Group.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has asked the International Cooperation Department, the Centre for Talent Support and Development and Interkultur Group’s experts along with the two provinces to create a feasible project and a programme for the event before June 15.

The 2011 Asia Musical Olympic is expected to attract 5,000 competitors from 40 countries and territories around the world who will perform different genres such as pop and jazz. The event is part of cultural activities to celebrate National Tourism Year in the south-central province of Phu Yen in 2011.
