The pageant is being held in Sakol Nakol, Thailand from December 19-27.

Vietnam’s three contestants in the event are Nguyen Quynh Hoa (Miss Vietnam-China Friendship 2005 and first runner up at the Miss Hanoi Contest), Tran Thi Kim Thanh (Miss Vinh Phuc 2006) and Pham Thi Ngoc Ha (Miss Ao Dai at the Miss Tourism Contest 2008).

The pageant is part of the “Each village each product” programme aimed at promoting cultural exchanges between Vietnam, Thailand and Laos.
