The Republic of Korea (RoK) film festival will be held in Hanoi from May 9-10 to promote friendship and cultural exchanges between Vietnam and the RoK.

Many famous RoK and Vietnamese artists will take part in the event, including Lee Young Ah - one of the top ten outstanding artists in 2007 selected by SBS television, Lim Soon Rye - one of the most talented film directors in the RoK, Bada - a famous RoK pop singer, Ho Quynh Huong who will represent Vietnam and sing at the opening ceremony of the 2008 Olympic Games Beijing and Ngo Thanh Van who was voted “most outstanding actress” in the film “The Rebel” at the 15^th Vietnam film festival.
