Vietnamese people of all ages over the world are eligible for an online quiz about the history and culture of the world’s 1000-year-old cities.

The competition was launched in Hanoi on May 28 as part of activities in celebration of Thang Long-Hanoi’s 1000^th anniversary in 2010.

The competition is expected to help Vietnamese people around the globe to better understand Hanoi and tighten the ties of friendship between the 29 nations whose capitals are 1000 years old or even older than Hanoi.
