Almost 80 contestants in the Miss Universe 2008 contest started their journey on June 25 to a number of cultural sites before the event takes place in Nha Trang city in mid-July.

As scheduled, the beauties will stay at the Palm Garden Resort in Hoi An ancient town and be driven through the town by cyclos. Later, they will stay at the Daewoo Hotel in Hanoi on June 26 and the Tuan Chau tourist resort in Quang Ninh province on June 27-29. They will then travel back to the Crown Convention Centre in Diamond Bay Resort in Nha Trang on July 14.
