The Executive Vice President of the Carousel Productions Inc, Lorraine E. Schuck, on July 24 worked with the Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee on the possibility of organisation the final stage of Miss Earth 2010 in the province.

According to Schuck, if the plan is approved by the Vietnamese Government,90 beauty queens from around the globe will arrive in Vietnam on November 4. They will be divided into three groups to join in charitable and environmental protection programmes in three provinces and then travel back to Nha Trang on November 20 to carry on similar activities. The final round of Miss Earth is scheduled to take place at the Vinpearl Land Resort and Spa on Hon Tre island.

Le Xuan Than, Deputy Head of the Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee, vowed that Khanh Hoa will provide its best facility for the contest. If the government gives the province the green light, it will work with other organisers of the pageant including Vinpearl Land and Thanh Nien (Youth) Communications Corp to prepare for this event.
