Almost 20 businesses from Geumsan County in the Republic of Korea (RoK) are showcasing their ginseng products at the Big C supermarket in Hanoi from January 29-31.

The exhibition, the second of its kind in Vietnam, displays 60 kinds of high-quality ginseng products while introducing methods to process products from ginseng such as wine, tea, dried ginseng and ginseng juice to Vietnamese customers.

The ginseng, which has a long history in Korean medicine, was grown in Geumsan, a mountainous area with a favourable climate and soil conditions for ginseng growing, and harvested after three to six years, said County chief Park Dong Cheol.

A performance staging traditional Korean music and games also took place at the exhibition to entertain customers.
