On the theme of ”Cultural Heritage with Integration and Development”, the Hue Festival 2008 will open on June 3 at the Imperial Citadel Ngo Mon (Noon Gate) and finish on June 11 on the Huong (Perfume) River with a diverse range of cultural and tourist programmes.

The opening night has been well arranged to feature the various national cultural identities with the participation of number foreign art troupes which promises to give impressive performances. The combination stage performances and a firework display will bring a new feature to the multicoloured culture and arts festival.
