A French television channel, France 3, on the night of May 4, screened a documentary film about Dien Bien Phu to mark the 53rd anniversary of Vietnam’s Dien Bien Phu historical victory.

The historical documentary film, which was directed by Patrick Jeudy in 2004 and entitled “Dien Bien Phu”, lasts for 1 hour and 5 minutes. It reveals secret reports and little known stories about the participation of the French army with French leaders planning and making final decisions to build entrenched fortifications in Dien Bien Phu.
