The exhibition features the culture and life of the M’Nong Gar ethnic minority people in Sar Luk village half century ago. It is part of a huge research project conducted by Professor Georrges Condomunas who stayed at Sar Luk village in 1948-1949 when he was 27 years old. In 2006 he returned to the village to see the dramatic changes in people’s lives there.
He will showcase more than 500 items and photos that he collected during time he stayed in Sar Luk village. It will include nine main themes featuring the ethnologist’s house, the Sar Luk ethnic minority people, forest fires, daily life, buffalo offering, disease, death and Sar Luk today.
