The event is hosted by the Malaysian Embassy in Hanoi and the Malaysia’s Tourism Promotion Department to celebrate Malaysia’s National Day (August 31) and the 1000th anniversary of Thang Long-Hanoi.
The 2010 Indonesian Culinary Week will be observed in Hanoi from September 3-7, one of several cultural activities marking Indonesia’s National Independence Day (September 7).
Indonesia consists of 13,000 islands spread out across the Pacific and Indian Oceans.
During the week, traditional Indonesian dishes and drinks will be served during buffet dinner parties at the Melia-Hanoi Hotel.
In addition, there will be music and dance performances by Indonesian artists each night.
