In the project, carried out by the Relics Conservation Centre, profiles on Nha Nhac costumes and orchestral instruments were compiled and more than 1,000 documents that were written during the Nguyen Dynasty were collected and are now kept in newly established archive.
As part of the project, a training course on Nha Nhac was also held for 20 instrumentalists, while more than 100 practitioners and mentors received a training course in art conservation.
It also included a performance of royal drums, successfully reintroducing Thai Binh Co Nhac music.
Dozens of performances have been held both inside and outside of the country to promote Nha Nhac.
The project cost 350,000 USD, US$155,000 of which was donated by the Japanese Trust Fund via UNESCO.
