On this occasion, the band will also display in at the Tuoi Tre Theatre in Hanoi on November 27 and at Ho Chi Minh City Conservatoire on December 3.
The band includes three artists - Françoise Derissen, Carla Van Effeltaire and Renaud Lhoest. It’s worth noting that their concert in Hanoi will include the performance of two Vietnamese artists, Quyen Thien Dac and Le Quoc Hung.
Franck Pezza, chief representative of the Wallonie-Bruxelles Delegation in Vietnam, described this as a particularly unique and interesting Asia-Europe music exchange.
The group’s unusual name derives from the surnames of the two principle artists – Derissen/Effeltaire - which sounds like someone saying, “There is an effel there” with a thick French accent.
Free tickets for the concert are available at the performance organisation centre at 32 Nguyen Thai Hoc St, Hanoi, the French cultural centre at 24 Trang Tien St, Hanoi, the Goethe Institute at 56-58 Nguyen Thai Hoc St, Hanoi, the British Council at 20 Thuy Khue St, Hanoi, and the Goethe Institute at 335/4 Dien Bien Phu St, Ho Chi Minh City.
