Deputy Head of the MoET International Cooperation Department, Nguyen Ngoc Hung, announced on May 11 that more than 150 delegates from 38 Asian and European nations will share their experiences in tertiary education and put forward solutions to develop joint training initiatives, increase exchanges of experts and students and reform the curriculum and teaching methods.
During the three-day meeting, the participants will focus their discussions on the quality of training and the mutual recognition of credits within ASEM member countries as well as how to develop sustainable human resources for ASEM in the future.
An agreement on the recognition and transfer of credits with Europe will enable Vietnamese students to study in the continent. This will help to improve the quality of Vietnam’s education, thus increasing the competitiveness of the country’s human resources during the international integration process.
