Northern Vietnam is one of the beautiful and stunning attractions in Vietnam. Getting to know more about the suitable time to visit and discover the region will make the traveling more and more interesting and unforgettable.

Northern Vietnam offers a lot of majestic and attractive destinations to visit and explore. Visiting the region, tourists will have a chance to visit famous attractions in Hanoi, Sapa, Ninh Binh, Ha Giang, Hai Phong and admire the beauty of Hoan Kiem Lake, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Temple of Literature, Hanoi Ancient Town, Trang An - eco tourism site, Tam Coc – Bich Dong, The Buckwheat flower Garden, Halong Bay, etc.

It is to say that getting to know the right time to visit destinations of Northern Vietnam will make the vacation more wonderful and fascinating. The climate in Northern Vietnam varies from the summer to winter. There are four seasons happening in a year in Northern Vietnam and each of them has a different and private feature.  

From January to March, it is the time of winter. With the cold weather, it is very ideal time to visit Sapa in order to admire and experience snow dropping and take part in the traditional activities of local people. Spring lasts from April to June. It is considered the most beautiful and comfortable season within year. The weather is cool and pleasant. Sometimes, it appears some of drizzling rain. Especially, it is the time of exchanging between old year and New Year. People are so excited and happy to prepare for Tet. Traveling to the big cities on this occasion, tourists will find it not as crowded as normal days.

It is the time of Summer from July to September. It is impossibly more wonderful than exploring and taking a vacation to Halong Bay to enjoy the hot and sunny weather of Summer. Visiting Tam Coc – Bich Dong is also a wonderful thing to do. The fourth season of the year is Autumn lasting from October to September. Autumn in Hanoi is one of the most romantic and beautiful moment that makes the unique beauty of the capital. Wandering around Ancient Town, Hoan Kiem Lake and then taste some young rice wrapped in the lotus leaf will give you the most impressive experience.

Traveling on season will make the trip and excursion more exciting and wonderful. Each season will offer different experience and impression.
