The Tuan Chau port in the northern province of Quang Ninh has welcome the first foreign cruise ship after it was given permission to receive foreign ships from November 2.

The Tuan Chau port in the northern province of Quang Ninh has welcome the first foreign cruise ship after it was given permission to receive foreign ships from November 2.

The Montigne from Cayman, a deluxe sailing ship operated by the UK’s Sea Shine Company, is docking at the port until November 15 for its 11-member crew and three foreign passengers to go sight-seeing at Halong Bay. 

Tuan Chau port can handle ships 70m long with drafts up to 8m.
