Targeting at strongly boosting tourism in centrally run provinces and cities: Hanoi – Hai phong – Quang ninh – Lao Cai – Lang Son – Ninh Binh – Thua thien Hue – Danang – Quang Nang – Ho Chi Minh city - Can Tho, the ceremony of signing tourism development cooperation agreement among these localities took place in Ho Chi Minh city recently on the principles of voluntariness, equality, efficiency, and mutual benefit.

The cooperation covers three main areas: state management, investment and construction of tourism products and training and developing of human resources.

Remarkably, the localities will jointly develop tourism programs, routes, destinations bringing unique features of each locality; actively exchange information and take part in local and international tourism promotion activities; actively participate in tourism events together, creating conditions for the local people to understand more about tourism destinations in order to increase local tourists.

The localities also agree to participate in the Hanoi International Tourism Fair 2012 scheduled to be held in December 2012.
