On April 08, after several months of launching the standard safety equipments for the cruise ships in Ha Long Bay, 230 ones have been installed the management system and the itinerary control via the Globe Positioning System (GPS).

This is the requirement of Quang Ninh on safety in order to control the ships and ensure the safety of tourists visiting Ha Long Bay in case of bad weather, rain and storm and other unexpected accidents. Along with white painting all the cruise ships, Quang Ninh plans to complete installing GPS for 500 yachts before April 30. Using GPS navigators belongs to the management system project, which control the yachts’ operation with the investment cost of more than 12 billion dongs ($600000).
