Winter comes! And do you have any idea for holiday in this winter? If you love sea and swimming with white sand and gold sand but you are afraid of coldness, have a look at following beaches and you will want to go to a beach immediately. New experience with new perspective and emotion of winter beach time, which is totally different from that of summer time. No crowds, minimal sunburn and lots of space to run. The beach in winter is quite preferable. These are some splendid beach destinations in Vietnam for you in this winter. Let’s try and enjoy.

1. Phu Quoc

“Pearl Island” Phu Quoc (Kien Giang province) is a destination not be missed in Vietnam. Marine resources, abundant forests and smooth white sand beaches in stretching, which have created a particular attraction of Phu Quoc. Period from November to April is the best time to travel to Phu Quoc. On coming here and luring away from busy daily life, tourists can relax, bathe in the sea, revisit the famous historical monuments and other attractive places.

You have to chance to discover Long beach with golden sand, Ganh Dau Point with a bow-shaped beach, Dinh Cau Point, Thom Island (Pineapple island), Phu Quoc pepper plantation, Tranh Stream, Da Ngon Stream, Long beach, Sao Beach with creamy white sand and sloping shape like the moon, Ham Ninh Fishing Village, Cay Dua Prison (Phu Quoc Prison), Coi Nguon Museum, Phu Quoc Fish Sauce Barrel House.

2. Vung Tau

Vung Tau is the most interesting and loved for its extensive beach. Dry season from November to April is the good time for tourism season. The annual average temperature is 27 degree C.

Bai Sau beach (or Thuy Duong beach) is one of the beautiful beaches in Vietnam with long and flat sand bank, green and clean sea water and big waves. Bai Truoc beach (or Tam Duong beach) is the ideal place to watch sunrise and sunset. Along the sea coast is lines of coconuts and a park of various flowers. Sparkling, colourful and bright light boulevard makes Bai Truoc more beautiful. Besides, there are other beautiful beaches such as Dua beach, Thuy Van beach, Vong Nguyet beach,Chi Linh beach, Doi Nhai beach.

Vung Tau Lighthouse on top of Small Mountain, Thang Tam temple, Statue of Jesus Christ with outstretched arms, Bach Dinh (Villa Blanche) are also interesting sight-seeing places for you to try.

3. Mui Ne

Mui Ne (Phan Thiet city, Binh Thuan province) is a precious gift of Nature, with the most beautiful sand banks in Vietnam. If you want to hide from the coldness, Mui Ne is an ideal destination for you because weather in Mui Ne is dry and hot around the year with average temperature of 27 degree C. This is also the good place for families with children. Tourists will easily be attracted by the deep blue and pure sea, blue sky, the golden of the sun and sand…Especially, the sand gathers together making the endless accumulated sand hills which will bring you the memorable feeling when stepping on.

You can find the beautiful beaches such as Rom island, Ong Dia beach, area of Ham Tien, Phu Hai, Tien Thanh for swimming. And if you want to try something more other than Mui Ne beach, you could spend time visiting the oldest tower in Vietnam – Po Sha Inu tower (or Phu Hai), Fish Sauce Plants, The famous Mui Ne Sand Dunes (or Flying Sand dune), Ke Ga Lighthouse, Mui Ne market and fishing harbour, the Fairy Stream (Suoi Tien).

4. Nha Trang

Nha Trang (Khanh Hoa province) is one of the most beautiful beaches in Vietnam for both pristine natural sea scenes and excellent accompanied tourism services. The weather in Nha Trang is always warm around the year. The average temperature from December to February is about 23-24 degree C and the atmosphere is cool and pleasant. Thus, Nha Trang is a good choice for this winter.

Nha Trang beaches with smooth sand, green and deep water and light waves  such as Long beach, Nha Trang beach, Tam beach, Tru Beach, Let slope, Son Dung beach, Dai Lanh beach will not let you down. Besides, other beautiful destinations for sight-seeing also make you surprised with their attraction such as Vinpearl Land, Hon Mun, Ninh Van bay, National Oceanographic Museum of Vietnam, Ponagar Cham Towers, Chong Rock, Van Phong bay, Dai Lanh beach, Cho Dam Market, Monkey island…

5. Da Nang

In winter, temperature in Da Nang is quite pleasant and a little bit cold. Tourists are attracted by not only beautiful and clean space, nice beaches with the stretch of smooth sand and fresh atmosphere and blue water, mountains and forests but also diversified cuisine and good service quality. Many beautiful and famous beaches with the clarity of water attracts tourists such as Non Nuoc, My Khe, Nam O, Tien Sa…in which My Khe beach is an ideal beach with smooth white sand and slight slope. Sea water in My Khe is cool with little wave so you can bath around the year. Besides, you also have a chance to enjoy the beauty of Ba Na Hill Station, Marble Mountains (also called Ngu Hanh Son or Mountains of the Five Elements), Son Tra Peninsula, Linh Ung Buddhist Temple, Monkey Moutain, Cham Museum, Cham island, Bach Ma National Park, Hai Van pass.
