Nguyen dynasty antiques unearthed at temple

On December 10, Mr. Tran Hong Dan, a manager of Ha Tinh Provincial museum said that the excavation of the ancient temple discovered some rare and unique objects in Nguyen Dynasty.

Antiques of the Nguyen dynasty (1802-1945) have been unearthed near a temple remnant buried under sand in Ky Anh District of the central province of Ha Tinh. The foundation of the rectangular temple has remnants of four stone pillars and archaeologists have found an open-air altar made of stone

 

 

.Around the temple, there are many unearthed objects with various colors and some patterns from Nguyen Dynasty. Various objects like ceramic jars and plates have been retrieved.

 

Some relevant agencies in Ha Tinh continue to excavate some next sectors of the temple and submit to the Vietnam Cultural Heritage Department.Ha Tinh provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has had Decision on unearthing the temple in Tien Thanh and entrusted Office of Cultural Heritage and Ha Tinh Provincial Museum as well as Titan factory to implement the excavation.
