A series of art, cultural and tourism activities featuring the beauty of Quang Binh central province will take place among the Hanoi walking streets on March 25-27 to promote the province's tourism to the people of Hanoi as well as domestic and foreign visitors.

The plans were announced at a press conference in Hanoi on March 16 which was jointly held by the Ministry of Information and Communications, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and the People's Committee of Quang Binh province.

At the press conference, Chairman of Quang Binh provincial People's Committee Nguyen Huu Hoai introduced the potentials, advantages, and outstanding tourism products and services of Quang Binh.

He also briefed on the province's investment attraction policies, tourism promotion programmes in 2017 and the opening of several direct flights to Quang Binh.

According to the organising board, a string of activities will be held during the three-day event including a conference on tourism promotion and connectivity, a photography exhibition entitled 'Quang Binh-The most attractive destination in Asia', a performance of Quang Binh folk songs and an introduction to the giant caves in Quang Binh, among other related events.

Of special note, a 3D model of Son Doong cave will be installed near Hoan Kiem Lake which is expected to create an interesting attraction for visitors.

The organising board will also hold a contest on exploring Quang Binh for travel lovers with many valuable prizes including a trek to Son Doong Cave, the world largest cave, in 2018.
